l just threw a rod in my 92 accord lx 5 speed, and since i'm going to replace it anyway, l figured l might throw something a bit more powerful in. im not a tuner or anything, just something to get me to my pizza deliveries a bit quicker. info on if the motors will need different engine mounts would be appreciated as well. thanks for for any info you have.

You can use an H22 from a Prelude. But realistically, another stock replacement motor will be just fine for your needs.

l would just replace with the F22 motor u have in there. H22 is more bad *** but u got to consider these facts:
1. ur doing pizza u goal is to make money not spend it all on a car that u put alot of miles on.
2. more hp more speed less MPG, which equals less profit for you.
3. since u work doing pizza deliveries there is always the risk someone could steal ur car, how dumb would it feel if u dumped a lot of money on a bad *** engine which some thieves steal ur car & take the motor.

Stick with a fresh F22 motor & u will be fine. l did this driving a D16 motor civic which is not that much hp/speed either.

H23 160hp uses same mounts as stock, usually cost about $800 h series trans is best but you can still use your stock
H22 200hp, stock mounts but needs some additional wiring, $1200 but its best to use h22 trans to keep in vtec, another $500
any other F series (besides the s2000) will work easily as well
