Today l have noticed a sound in my car. You can hear the sound when you break at 20mph or when accelerating at about 15-25mph... l think the sound comes from the driver side front tire, but im not too sure. If l can compare the sound to something it would be this.. it sounds as if there is a plastic bottle stuck around the wheel or in the engine making this scraping sound.. l checked and there is nothing stucked... Like l said, you can only hear it at about 15-25mph.. when accelerating or when breaking....

It is very cold 18F... but yesturday it was 5F and l didnt hear it till today..

Still in warranty take it to the dealership to get it fixed for free.

sometimes its normal brake slap it does it on my 2008 S l and sure enough when test driving with the Honda tech l heard it. So to answer your question its due to the fact that in between the piston and the pad is the shim and on top of the shim there is a lubricant that wears off and sometimes the caliper closing causes a slight slap that you may be hearing its normal dude.
