l have a 93 integra l just bought, and im putting a b16 in it.So l am wanting to get an upgrade on the suspension system on it.l want basically a tein basic kit, but im just wondering if you just buy the springs because l have read that if you put aftermarket coilovers on stock struts you can mess up the car suspension.l just need to know what all l need to get for a tein system to make it so im safe thanks.

Get an air ride suspension.

when u buy tein basics they come with the spring & struts, along with height adjustment wrenches. l would recommend function form coilovers, they r well priced & r extremely good.

So if u buy full coilovers, u wo not be using ur stock struts at all.
If u go buy ebay ''sleeve coilovers'' those go on ur stock or aftermarket struts, & r height adjustable, but they usually have terrible spring rates, & r very cheaply made.

skunk2 full coilovers
all tein coilovers
function form coilovers
ground control sleeve coilovers mixed with koni yellow struts

If u r going to be using stock struts for the time being
l would say get the tein S.tech lowering springs, they're progressive rate springs so they will ride relatively smooth but stiffen up during hard cornering & make the car handle better, they typically lower the car about 1.5 to 2 inches.
