Do you think the hot antifreeze caused something to go wrong? This car is pissing me off!

My husband had this problem. Turns out he installed the thermostat wrong. Double check that. Also, you do not indicate if the car will turn over but not catch, does not turn over, what - that is very important. Did you disconnect something you did not reconnect?

Make sure you reinstalled the ground wire that connects to the thermostat.

Changing ur thermostat should not affect ur car from starting, especially if ur car started before ur thermostat replacement had been performed. The only thing hot antifreeze could do is blow a crack through ur radiator while the high heat on ur engine could damage ur sparkplugs & ruin gaskets that could cause leaks around ur water pump.

Work ur way through the general process of troubleshooting when ur car does not start.

Make sure ur battery is fully charged; does it need a jumpstart?

If ur car sounds like it is just making clicking or whizzing noises when u turn ur ignition key, do u need to replace ur starter?

When was the last time u changed the spark plugs & spark plug cables?

There r a lot of other things u can double check but try those first few before getting a little deeper into troubleshooting.
