l was looking at them and they both look exactly the same..can anyone tell me what the difference is?

The engines are the same. It is just the cosmetical differences between both cars.

Civic Type R.. They r so Different from Civic Si (which l assume you're calling it Civic Type S)!

Dude, if u r looking at the NEW 06-09 Civic Type-R. it has a totally different body look! The suspension r way better & the engines r way faster! Theres so much more that l can not even write..

But then the Civic Si. there okay. not the same as the Civic Type R. Slower. Uglier. & yeah.. Not FAST! Ca not even beat a Integra Type R or a RSX Type S!

wtf l know them top 3 r wrong! the Type R ( Racing ) is a much better car, its Alot faster, stiffer suspention, alot better handling, longer sportyer revs & the type R has a 2.0 engine with variable valve timing, ( like a turbo, when u hit 5200rpm the valves open up & loads of air gets sucked into the engine giving a huge boost of power.


The Type S ( Sport ) has a 2.2 turbo diesal engine, its not a slow car but its not as fast as the type r obiously, if ur looking at fuel econemy go for this Type S, it also sounds good, the cornering is not as good as the Type R of course but for a extra £1000 l would go with the Top of the Range Type R GT version.

i test drove both & l currently own the type r, the car is great & have had no problems.

so BIG DIFFERENCE
