can my automatic civic have cold air intake??? when i see the products to buy it always says m/t only?????????

l dont know for sure but l dont think so, but l wouldnt want one anyway my uncle had one on his charger and it ran like crap

l am sure it could. Check out autopartswarehouse.com. l put an AEM cold air on my 2002 automatic Altima and it runs like a champ. Faster and better gas mileage too.

If you do cold air though, make sure to add a high flow muffler to your car. Thats the only way to fully benefit from the cold air upgrade.

My recommendations for brands are AEM for the intake and the flowmaster Delta 44 for exhaust...

Yes, ur automatic Civic can have a cold air intake. Intake is do not have much to do with the transmission at all. The engine is the same in the automatic & the manual, & that is all that really matters. l do not see why there would be a difference between the M/T & A/T besides maybe the fact that the automatic transmission takes more space, so you'd have to have a different length or bend to the intake piping, since CA l is install usually way down in the engine bay near the bottom of the car.

l know that a lot more CAIs are made for 5-speeds, because the trannys out of the way, as opposed to automatics. If you're looking for a good intake, when l had my old Civic l put in an AEM short ram intake and it worked great. Otherwise you can always order a CA l and if it does not work do a little custom work lol.

My friend has an automatic with an intake. l plan doing the same once l finish swap my engine.
