well is there like a in between model ,

Between Dx and Ex??

Dx would be the ''base model''
Ex would be''fully loaded''

Ex comes with many extras, power windows,power mirrors, single cam Vtec motor, sunroof, rear disc brakes.
just some of the differences.

The DX has a 1.6L with 106 hp and the EX has a 1.6L with 127hp but the DX gets better gas mileage at 33 city and 38 highway while the EX gets 30 city and 36 highway

DX is lowest trim and cheapest.
No power windows or locks. No power seats. No cd player or sunroof. No criuse control and possibly no A/C.

EX has some or all of those things.

DX: D16Y7 (106 HP)
EX: D16Y8 (127 HP)

DX: no power steering, no power locks & windows, no cruise control, & no sunroof
EX: power steering, power locks & windows, cruise control & sunroof

DX: standard 6G Civic 4 speaker set up
EX: standard 6G Civic 4 speaker set up & 2 front door tweeters
