Hello everyone. l have a problem with my 90 teggy. I've noticed that the car is been overheating. l checked the thermostat, the hoses, the radiator but l dont find any leaks (the radiator keeps its fluid level as well as the reservoir tank) the other day l noticed....when l turn off the car after a drive, and l turn on the switch the radiator fan turns on and starts working. what do you think is the problem?? please help me!!

try changing your radiator cap. sometimes that is the problem. also check your temp sensor

fan switch, dealer thermostat i've seen aftermarket ones not work good on these cars,

NEVER replace any part till you KNOW the problem. l would suggest you go to a RADIATOR SHOP and have the radiator cleaned.

you could have a clog in your radiator. have it flushed out. over heating in integras is a very very common problem. your best bet would be to take it to a radiator shop or if ur like me have the dealership do all the work so its guarenteed and hey who knows more about teggies than the friken dealership!

Sounds like you have blown the HEAD GASKET.but first get your radiator pressure tested. Ide say HG for sure..or internal water pump problem.

it could be your heater core what gives you heat in the winner time l have a 91 honda accord that l had bought for 300 bucks and that was what was worng with it the people be for me said it would overheat till it all most would blow the motor anyways l bypassed the heatercore and now it dont over heat anymore check that to make sure

So your saying the fan doenst kick on till after the car is off? l had a 91 teggy and it did that too.problem with the wiring or something. Best bet is install a toggle switch or something for the fan. And for the love of god make sure the fan is on before you take it out of the driveway.
