My car had it is first oil change on May 16th of this year at Jiffy Lube and the sticker then put up says the mileage and august 14th.The mileage has already gone past and the date iscoming up.But my car has a system on it that tells me what percentage the oil is at and currently its at 60%, it usually needs to be changed when it gets to 15%.I am not sure if l should go with what the car tells me or what the sticker says?Thanks

the non-maintenance minder elements that were mechanically the same as yours but without the maintenance minder called for oil & filter changes every 6 months or 5000 miles if u use the car in stop & go traffic or in dusty environments & 10,000 miles if u use the car primarily on freeways.

the jiffy lube is probably recommending every 3 months & 3000 miles. they make their money selling oil changes & ancillary services.

the 6 months & 5000 mile recommendation on the honda elements prior to yours is a valid recommendation & l would follow that as a rule of thumb or go by the maintenance minder if u like--it looks to me as though the 60% remaining is tracking at the 5000 mile range. that system uses inputs from the average vehicle speed & engine load conditions to calculate when you're due for service. Be sure to check ur oil occasionally as the maintenance minder will still not tell u the level or condition of the oil; it only tells u when u r due for a maintenance service based on how u drive ur Element.

as for me, l do oil & filter changes on my hondas every 5000 miles which is the recommendation for my non-maintenance minder cars
