difference between sedan saloon, hatchback

A hatchback is a small car but a sedan saloon is a long car..the hatchback has less features and is less equipped but are suitable for those people who are in the process of learning (approx. 3 years after they get the driving licence).. but a sedan saloon has more features and people buy it after they have achieved the level of professional driving.
please give me the best answer.

A sedan has 4 doors and a trunk.

A hatchback usually has 2 doors and a trunk, or 4 doors and a trunk. The trunk can be accessed through the rear seats, and the rear of the car is usually the same height at the roof.

a sedan has 4 doors and can be hatchback.

a hatchback is just a trunk that lifts open up and the entire car can be seen. (kind of like a mini van)
unlike a hatchback, a regular trunk is just a closed section at the rear of the car.

there is also a coupe which is just a 2 door car. (sports cars)

ok the difference between a hatch & a sedan is very simple.

the only difference is in the trunk of the car. in a coupe or sedan the trunk opens up as a seperate piece of the car.or better put when u open the trunk the back window stays where it is always at.

in a hatchback when u open the trunk the back window lifts up with the trunk. l use to think it was all in the body style but l saw the european accord hatchback. its a sedan body style. 4 doors & it looks like the trunk is cut off but when they open the trunk the entire window comes up with it kinda like a vans rear door or an suv rear door.

there r alot of cars that r not called hatchback like when people talk about them but they r hatchbacks when looked up on the title.

the camaro is a hatchback, the 240sx can be hatchback & the coupe is not a coupe its actually called a notchback. it sounded funny when l saw it on my friends title but l found it that it means not hatchback just shortened.

but that is the only difference in the hatchback to any other car. the back window lifts up with the trunk.

Well all of these r road going vehicles which have been classified according to their characteristics in their design.

Hatchback:These cars have a 2 box design,the engine compartment & the passenger enclosure.These cars do not have an extra section for the boot,they r small(generally).Eg:suzuki swift,hyundai getz,bmw 1 series.

Sedan:These cars have a 3 box design,The engine compartment,passenger enclosure & the boot(where we keep the baggage).These tend to be more expensive.
Eg:bmw 3 series,5 series,toyota corolla.

Saloon:A saloon is a sedan which is modified to provide excellent levels of comfort or mind blowing levels of performance,often a balanced combination of these both.
eg:BMW csl 46,BMW m3,audi RS 8,bentley continental gt.

Apart from these there r categories of super cars:like pagani zonda,ferraris,astons.&

coupes:these have typically two doors & r designed for sporty & comfortable performance.
