What are the pros and cons of each

The Honda fit sport has a nice looking body kit, nicer wheels, remote entry, cruise control, a better sound audio system, and more..

It is a little more than the base model, but it is worth it.

for the life of me l cant find it in performance, it has the same engine. so it probably has to do with comfortablity features, maybe power everything, sunroof, alloy wheels maybe leather seats.

most likely a bodykit maybe with a spoiler.

Hey, be sure to drive a new civic coupe while you are there. They are only a tad more and quite a different ride, and nearly the same fuel economy (but more power and stability in civic)

Body Styles, Trim Levels, & Options

The 2008 Honda Fit is a subcompact four-door hatchback available in two trim levels: Fit & Fit Sport. The base Fit comes standard with 14-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, full power accessories, a tilt steering wheel, a fold-flat & flip-up 60/40 rear seat & a four-speaker stereo with CD player. The Fit Sport adds 15-inch alloy wheels, foglights, underbody & rear spoilers, keyless entry, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel & a six-speaker stereo with CD/MP3 player & an auxiliary audio jack. The Fit has no factory options.

Powertrains & Performance

Underneath the hood is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine driving the front wheels. It is capable of 109 hp & 105 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard & a five-speed automatic is optional. Sport models with the automatic transmission feature steering-wheel-mounted paddles for sequential shift control. Revised 2008 fuel economy ratings for the Fit r roughly 27 mpg city & 34 mpg highway, with a 1 mpg difference in either direction depending on transmission.
