That is the MAX hp.

Many things goes into figuring out the MPG. Part of the factors are aerodynamics (big factor), weight, gearing, tire weight, etc.

So there is no way to know without looking at the actual test numbers.

9 hp will probably have a negligible effect on mpg, MAYBE 1mpg less, but you likely would not even notice.

l think it will have a slight increase. You will have a new engine i-vtec instead of the vtec. Now it should have better acceleration to get up to speed with less effort.

no it should be the same. they developed a new intake manifold inner design that allows for a more efficient airflow that burns the same amount of gas better netting you a minor gain in HP. but this was just speculation on the part of a test panel.

pretty much everything on the motor remains the same. block, heads, fuel system, cams, etc.
