go to your local junk yard and buy the gauges out of a civic within your year range and swap them out. usually they will give you a good price on it. depending on where you go it should be around 50 bucks or so. and you wont have one of those huge ricer tachs, it will all look stock and neat.good luck

l agree with h96civic.just go to the junk yard and get a cluster that already has a tach in it.like the ex or si models.they have the higher range rpm.but the hx and vx have a slightly lower rpm range tach..so its your choice of whinch to get.and its easy to install.no holes to be drilled and you wont have a big tachmeter sitting on your dash to entice the cops to pull you over or thieves hoping to get something from your car.thinking you might have something thats worth the while..
