l received a rejection sticker because all 4 cylinders are misfiring. l had it tuned up and there is no oil in the boots. any ideas?

have all of the lines and tubes changed, youve probably got a leak or clog somewhere..

What did you do exactly? You need to replace all the common ignition parts (distributors, coil, coil spark wire, etc.)

if the check engine light is on & the code is p0300 for multiple cylinder misfire & that is the reason for the rejection then u need to isolate the cause. The cause of the problem is something that will affect all cylinders & not just one. here r a few possibilities:

1) a bad ignition coil that has a weak spark output. this is the most probable cause of ur multiple cylinder misfire

2) a gas tank full of contaminated fuel. high water content or old gas can cause the fuel to burn incompletely or erratically & cause this. If the condition has been present for quite some time this is not likely the cause

3) an air leak btween the throttle body & the cylinders. this could be a leaking vacuum line or a leaking intake manifold gasket. this would result in a lean misfire.

4) a cracked distributor cap. u did not mention if this was replaced during ur 'tune up''. the cap & rotor could affect all cylinders by arcing spark

5) high or low fuel pump pressure. causes an incorrect & inconsistent quantity of fuel to be injected

again, you're lo find a cause that affects all cylinders & not just one. from my experience the ignition coil is the most likely cause.

possibly a crank or cam sensor. you car has individual coil packs so it is most likely something that will control it all or a bad ground.
