it might be in the gas tank it is self.
try looking under the back seat and see if there is a a panel that will alow you to get to it without taking the tank out.also you can try looking it up on the internet and see if anyone else has had the same problem one site is http://2carpros.com/makes/honda/prelude.htm.

It is in the tank and you should hear it prime the system when you put the ignition on.

Ive been a Honda owner for some time now and l have had to replace the fuel pump on my car. you will find that it is inside the fuel tank.Don`t be put off by this it`s not that difficult even for the home mechanic with some experience.
