Also, my doors started automatically locking when l get in the car.

l know if you install an aftermarket radio
it can sometimes cause the dinging to not ding anymore

sounds like you have a short or a loose wire
look around your fuse box for a loose or a hard or brittle wire

If you have had any work done around the wire harness that leads to the lock switch or the door chime l would look there first.

l would check the door jam switch. It is a small ''button'' on the door jam that is released when you open the car door unless it is broken(commen problem) When it is workng it will trigger the interior lights to come on and any warning chimes (lights, keys) to sound once the door is opened.

If it is broken it is easy to replace. Just need to find a screw driver to unscrew it and then unplug it
