l was told buy the guy who l bought it off that it is a 4cyl 1.8ltr . But l do not think there is any 1.8ltr Accords. l checked on top of the engine and the only thing it writes is 16valve Honda. where can l find more info about my engine.

its a 2.2 liter, single overhead belt-driven cam.

2.2 Single Cam 16 Valve or he changed it out but that would mean other changes too. Maybe he lied or maybe he did not really know.

ur car should be a F22 so no its not 1.8 liter or dohc.

its a 2.2 Liter SingleOverHeadCam non-VTEC 16Valve engine. which came stock in there. 5th Generation Accords 94-97 either came with the F22 or the C27(v6) or the H22(the Si-r, highly doubt yours is si-r).
if ur motor looks like this its a F22.

no it has the 2.2 honda engine in it with single cam.
