A car is speed depends on the volume of one is wallet.

So, if he is uptight with money, the car will be uptight with power.

The most effective mod, is to swap the engine with either an H23 or H22. Both will have huge gains over stock. Quite easily the best power for the money choice there is.

A b18c5 is also good. But u shud consider getting a turbo.

l have just installed a brand new red air filter myself. Its preety good, l can feel the power and here it..

The 3rd gen prelude is probably the hardest of the preludes to get any performance parts. If its mainly stock, Headers, high flow cat, Thermal R&D exhaust [best sound, best performance] Look on preludepower.com & prelude3g.com for how to get a good & relatively inexpensive cold air intake. There is the E-ram which will give u 8-10HP 10-15 trq gains & excellent throttle response.

Unless its the 2.0S carb then. u have to get rid of that B20A3 & u can get a B20A JDM, or B21A [which suck] but for really cheap & will bolt right in.

Best options r H22 vtec VERY EXPENSIVE & very hard to do, or a turbo which have to be frankensteined because there r no retail kits for that specific car.
An H22 swap with all the fixins that r necessary to make it run flawless & a full rebuild on the B20A5 or B20A JDM with a turbo cost about the same

Most importantly BRAKE AND SUSPENSION upgrades as this car handles terrific with the K-Sport coil over & u will need brakes to keep the cars speed in check.
