I am thinking about purchasing a certified used pilot from a honda dealership. If you own one or have even driven one, please fill me on advantages/disadvantages/problems/benefits/opinions.. Anything really.

Especially if you have had an major problem/fixes, cost/what went wrong would be appreciated.

Please no comments about 'gas guzzlers.' l need an SUV for work purposes.

Honda is are great cars, as is their SUV.
No major problems until you get to about 150,000 or more miles. Just make sure that all the pre-owned checklists items have been completed and then do your minor maintenance to it religiously and everything will be fine.
Unless, you have a trusted mechanic, do note that a lot of repairs on Honda is are a bit more expensive then say Ford or Chevy, but again repairs on Honda is are few and far in between

My daughter has an Acura MDX that is the same model as the Pilot. You need to be braced for 11-15 MPG in city driving. Great car but horrible mileage.
