l have a 95 Honda Civic with 310,740 miles on it. l bought it from it is previous owner. And it still starts up and drives very well.

OMG they last forever. The engine will never die.Trust me l had an 1993 honda Accord.and the body fell apart before the engine ever quit. They are such great cars! Drive it till it dies..or the door falls off like mine did HAHAHA

it will keep going, the motor that is most likely in there is a d15, or d16. which is a good and fairly inexpensive motor, as long as the previous owner took care of it it should last awhile, power train wise, little things may go wrong like misc sensors and relays but that happens with any car over time.

l think they will last forever, but l find it aggravating that all of the little things invevitably start giving u trouble.

l have a '94 Accord that l bought new & it has 177K miles on it & still running strong. HOWEVER, the A/C does not work & it will cost $600 to fix. And one of the rear seat belts does not retract. And one of the heater controls takes so much pressure to turn that the knobs keep breaking. And the driver is side front window goes up & down REAL slow. And the radio dial only shows up about half the time. And it is leaking a bit of oil (had seals replaced a few years ago). And it needs the brakes done & it is about time for a tune-up. And it idles strange for the first 5 minutes (solenoid needs to be replaced).

Unfortunately, fixing all of that stuff would cost way more than the car is worth, so l will probably just get a new car. Nevertheless, over the 14 years I've owned the car it is been extremely reliable. l give it a 10 & would recommend a honda to anyone.

it will last for ever and ever l have a 97 accord with 124,000 we had a 96 oddsey wtih 200,000 miles the last for ever if you take car of them

ok, Hondas do last for pretty much forever and a day. But you actually bought a car that has 310K miles on it? You know that you're going to have to replace the engine pretty soon right?

i'd say around 300k to 400k. depending on how you maintain it.

If they're taken care of Hondas will last a very long time. l live in what is called a ''Honda town'' & u would not believe the number of pre-1994 old Hondas driving around. We bough a 91 Accord in 1999 with 150,000+ miles & it is still going strong. It needs a rear engine mount but they're really expensive compared to the value of the car so l just live with the vibrating. Several cars have come & gone in my family since then but we've always kept the Accord because it is so reliable & trouble free at over 200,000 miles (we do not think it was taken care of before we bought it). My friend is very hard on cars & in 2001 bought a 92 Accord that had 250,000+ miles; it was well over 350,000 miles when it was stolen a year or two ago. It had been in a few accidents so the the bumpers were held on with wire & the trunk was tied shut but there were no mechanical problems at all. l bought my 03 Accord with higher mileage than l wanted but l know it will last for as long as l need it to & in the two years I've had it all I've done is replace the tires & wipers.

Just make sure to keep up on the maintenance, especially the timing belt, & it will last a long time.
